White Water Week 26. - 30. of July 2010

An action-packed water-based week. This is the complete white water experience and a trip specially designed for thrill-seekers. Running down from the national parks, the crystal-clear rivers offer ideal conditions for a variety of adventurous activities.
This is a mecca for water-based adventure seekers. Join us for white water rafting, hydrospeeding, canyoning, kayaking, extreme rafting and pioneer rafting.

Full instruction and supervision is provided by our expert team who ease you through progressively more demanding and exciting activities.

Program

Day 1: Day trip rafting

The week kicks off with a thrilling full day white water rafting expedition on the rivers of Skjåk. The rafting will be progressively more demanding and exciting.

This day will give you all kinds of rafting. Technically steep and rocky rivers, big volume rivers, surfing and the extra bonus - bridge jumping and wave jumping.

Day 2: Hydrospeed and Canyoning

Morning session of hydrospeed. You can`t get closer to the river than this. Hydrospeed is the ultimate adrenaline-bomb, swimming down rapids with high-buoyancy floats and flippers. This is the perfect way to learn and understand the power of the river and how to read the river. And it is amazingly fun!

Afternoon of canyoning in natures own playground. We explore the canyon and its river by swimming the rapids, jumping into the witches pot, sliding down the waterfalls and jumping of cliffs. An incredible nature experience!

Day 3: White water kayaking

Full day of kayaking.

We use the first session for training basic techniques and safety. The rest of the day is dedicated to the rapids. We will paddle down one playful section of the Otta River challenging the rapids and trying out real white water kayaking.

Day 4: Extreme rafting and Pioneer rafting

We highlight the week going extreme rafting in the morning session. This is high-adrenaline fun and intense action from the very beginning. The afternoon will introduce you for a totally new experience – Pioneer rafting. You will guide your own rafts down the river.

There will be guides following you in kayaks to take care of the safety.
